BIG:LEAP, the largest Guaranteed Basic Income (GBI) Pilot Program in America, is already changing the lives of thousands of households in Los Angeles.
In 2021, Councilmember Price proposed the initial $6 million GBI pilot for District 9 families which then grew into a nearly $40 million Citywide initiative. Councilmember Price is dedicated to exploring additional safety net programs that will uplift our neighbors in need.
