On Wednesday, Sept. 14, Councilmember Price joined Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and John Hope Bryant, Founder and CEO of Operation HOPE Inc., as part of a special announcement helping to create 1 million Black businesses nationwide by 2030.
The groundbreaking partnership will allow for greater awareness, free counseling, workshops, financial assistance and other tools and resources aimed at supporting businesses and entrepreneurs from historically underserved communities.
“I am dedicated to complementing these efforts locally with my Office’s Business Resource Center (BRC) and look forward to pushing our economic development momentum forward,” added Councilmember Price.
