Fuerza Regida, which became the best selling group of urban Mexican music in 2022, has amassed millions of devoted fans across the globe earning them unprecedented popularity on social media and digital streaming services, with over a billion impressions.
With the group setting out to perform at BMO Stadium in District 9 this summer, Councilmember Price joined the talented members, along with their record label, Rancho Humilde, to declare Feb. 28 Fuerza Regida Day in the City of Los Angeles.
As fierce advocates for street vendor rights, the band also donated $20,000 to Inclusive Action for the City, one of CD 9’s trusted non-profit partners in the fight to legalize street vending.
