The Los Angeles City Council voted to send a Healthy Streets LA petition to the 2024 voting ballot for Angelenos consideration. The measure seeks to speed up the installation of bike routes, bus lanes and other transportation projects aimed at making the city safer and more welcoming for bicyclists, pedestrians and transit riders. The initiative would also require city agencies to make those changes every time city crews do major road work on streets. To read the motion, click here.
