On Wednesday, the Los Angeles City Council adopted an ordinance 13-1 that amends the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) to make proof of COVID-19 vaccination requirements optional for indoor covered spaces. This move aligns with the direction of the Los Angeles County Health Department. Since the vote was not unanimous, the ordinance will need to be approved once more by the City Council.
