On Wednesday, Councilman Price co-presented a resolution to oppose two proposals by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) that would disincentivize the use of rooftop solar by homeowners. There is belief that the new proposals will reproduce inequities for underserved communities similar to what was first experienced by these communities when the program first began. Underserved communities are typically subject to the most environmental harm as they traditionally live in close proximity to fossil fuel burning plants. Click here for the resolution.
