Additionally, Councilman Price seconded a motion in support of SB 972, which would modernize the California Retail Food Code to help street vendors. The goal of the bill would be to allow the state to standardize sidewalk vending food carts, as well as remove major barriers for vendors when trying to obtain health permits.
