Councilmember Price joined a group of wide-eyed local children on Oct. 11 to eagerly welcome the arrival of two large Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs) at the California Science Center in District 9.

The SRMs, donated by Northrop Grumman, played an essential part in launching Space Shuttle Endeavour into outer space. In the near future, these mighty boosters will be proudly displayed alongside the Endeavour in liftoff position at the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, which is currently undergoing construction.

The extraordinary event provided an out-of-this-world experience for all, and Team Price is incredibly proud to have a piece of living history right in the heart of District 9, where generations upon generations will have the opportunity to dream far beyond the stars.
