CALL FOR LEGAL ACTION, SUPPORT FOR MIGRANTS FROM TEXAS

The Los Angeles City Council adopted a motion and resolution relative to Governor Greg Abbott of Texas sending 42 migrants from McAllen, Texas to the City of Los Angeles. Both items call upon legal aid and support for the investigation of human trafficking, kidnapping, or any other crime committed. Additionally, the resolution urges for federal, state and county funds to help assist with financial, humanitarian, and legal aid to support the housing, placement, and necessary resources to ensure a dignified welcome to the City of Los Angeles.
