The Budget, Finance and Innovation Committee is in the final stages of considering the Mayor’s proposed budget and will conclude next week. Councilmember Price continues to advocate for resources to tackle the biggest issues the District faces, such as providing supportive services for unhoused individuals through programs like Inside Safe, public safety through programs like GRYD (Gang Reduction and Youth Development), and community beautification through services such as CARE+ teams and tree trimming.
